1. General
These terms apply to all sales of bulk spirits, contract bottling, and goods supplied by AM Distilling Ltd (“The Company”). By placing an order, the Buyer is deemed to have accepted these terms.
2. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)
Unless agreed otherwise in writing:
- Bulk Spirits (IBC): Minimum order is 1,000 Litres.
- Bulk Spirits (Tanker): Minimum order is 25,000 Litres.
- Contract Bottling: Minimum run is 2,000 units per SKU.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are quoted Ex Works (EXW) from our Bedfordshire facility unless otherwise stated.
- Prices exclude UK Duty and VAT, which will be applied at the prevailing rate unless the goods are moving under Duty Suspension (ARC/EMCS) to an approved bonded warehouse.
- New Accounts: Pro-forma payment (100% in advance) is required for the first three orders.
- Credit Accounts: Payment is due 30 days from invoice date, subject to credit checks.
4. Duty & Compliance (APPA)
The Buyer must provide valid APPA registration and Excise ID details prior to the movement of any duty-suspended goods.
- It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure they have the capacity to receive duty-suspended goods.
- If the Buyer cannot provide valid Excise details, UK Duty will be charged in full prior to dispatch.
5. Delivery & Lead Times
Lead times are estimates only. Standard lead times for bulk spirits are 15-20 working days from receipt of payment. For contract bottling, timelines will be defined in the Project Scope.
6. Quality & Returns
The Buyer must inspect goods immediately upon arrival. Claims for damage or shortage must be made in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Due to the nature of food-grade ethanol, returns cannot be accepted once the container seal has been broken.
